Cor, het is ons nooit echt zo opgevallen. Maar ja, we rijden natuurlijk niet met de auto over de fietspaden, maar vaker eigenlijk op de kleinere weggetjes hoog in de bergen.
Maar inderdaad, we hebben wel fietsroutekaarten gezien in de boekwinkels.

langs de weg staan van die gele bordjes met een fiets en de pijlen geven de richting aan.het is wel meer mountainbikers.niet voor een fiets zonder versnellingen

Als je een huisje huurt via Topic Travel kan je ook fietsen huren voor min. een week, deze worden dan bij het vakantiehuis afgeleverd... Verder worden er een hoop huisjes verhuurd incl. fietsen.....

Misschien moet je eens contact op nemen met Topic Travel , zij zullen die fietsen heus niet uit Nederland laten overkomen, maar ook gewoon in Tsjechië huren...

Wij kennen in het Reuzengebergte verschillende fietshuurplekken. Bovendien zijn er bij ons in de buurt (Ponikla tussen Rokytnice en Vrchlabi) veel mountainbikeroutes. De routes zijn goed beschreven, maar houdt wel rekening met stevige klimmetjes!

It is very easy to rent a bicycle – all what you have to do is to show two of your personal identity documents (e.g. identity card, driver’s licence, passport, etc.) for the purpose of making a lease agreement, to deposit a returnable security for the bike (CZK 500 or CZK 1000) and to pay the rental (CZK 100 to CZK 200 per day). The security will be returned back to you on your returning the bike, even in other listed stations than the one where you have rented the bike.

Lijkt me best leuk voor een dagje of dagdeel rondtoeren op de fiets!

Wij zijn echte hollanders en vinden het altijd leuk om een stukje te gaan fietsen (geen mountainbikes maar gewone fietsen met een paar versnellingen)tijdens de vakantie. Maar..............ik hoorde dat rond het lipnomeer niet mee valt dus wij weten nu niet of we de fietsen thuis moeten laten of wel meenemen !!!
Wie heeft er ervaring.???

Behalve in Nymburk waar het vrij vlak is heb ik nog nooit een Tsjech gezien op een gewone fiets, wel ernaast lopend met de boodschappen eraan. De meesten rijden op mountainbikes en niet zonder reden.
Direct langs het meer zal het logischerwijze moeten gaan, de omgeving is tot zo'n 1200 meter.
